Tournament Rules
Last Updated: February 22, 2026 · DigiCup
These Tournament Rules ("Rules") govern competitive events operated on the DigiCup platform ("Platform") and supplement the DigiCup Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). In the event of a conflict between these Rules and the Terms regarding tournament conduct, eligibility, prizes, or enforcement, the Terms shall prevail unless these Rules expressly state otherwise for a specific tournament. Each tournament may publish additional event-specific requirements; such requirements form part of the binding rules for that event.
1. General Tournament Information
Each tournament listing identifies the applicable game discipline, PUBG Mobile team mode (where applicable), lobby configuration, placement or scoring rules, and administrative schedule. Events are discrete tournaments administered on the Platform; unless a listing expressly states otherwise, DigiCup does not operate recurring league seasons, ladder promotions, round-robin league tables, or similar longitudinal league formats. Participants are solely responsible for reviewing all published parameters prior to registration.
- PUBG Mobile — team modes and lobby capacity: competitions use the team mode published for that event: Solo (individual entries), Duo (two-player teams), or Squad (four-player teams). Custom matches are configured for up to one hundred (100) player slots in aggregate for the mode (for example, up to one hundred solo entrants, up to fifty duos, or up to twenty-five squads), subject to caps, minimum fill requirements, and substitutions stated in the listing.
- Placement-based results: standings, prizes, and ranking credits (where offered) derive from verified final placement at the end of the match, or from an aggregation methodology expressly published for multi-match events. Typical published placement bands include, without limitation, Top 1, Top 3, Top 5, Top 10, and Top 30; any prize or ranking cut-off applies only as expressly disclosed before registration closes.
- Game or discipline: the supported title (including perspective and map pool where stated), publisher rules, and any Platform or event-specific overlays are binding for that listing.
- Schedule and time zone: all published start times, check-in windows, lobby opens, and administrative deadlines are stated with reference to a defined time zone (typically UTC or a region referenced in the listing). Participants must synchronize their availability accordingly.
Eligibility is limited to registered Platform users who satisfy the age, identity, region, and technical prerequisites stated in the Terms and in the tournament listing. DigiCup may require verification prior to participation or prize release.
Registration constitutes a binding commitment to compete in accordance with these Rules, the Terms, any event-specific addendum, and applicable instructions issued by tournament administrators.
Nothing in these Rules authorizes gambling, betting, or chance-based prize allocation; all competitive progression is administered as a skill-based esports event in accordance with the Terms and applicable law in the Republic of Armenia.
2. Skill-Based Competition Statement
DigiCup operates tournaments exclusively as skill-based esports competitions. For battle royale events (including PUBG Mobile), final placement and any published placement bands (such as Top 1, Top 3, Top 5, Top 10, or Top 30) are determined solely by verifiable in-match performance and official end-of-match ordering—not by chance-based mechanics.
Outcomes depend on demonstrable in-game performance factors, including but not limited to mechanical execution, strategy, map awareness, reaction time, resource management, communication (where applicable), and adherence to the stated competitive ruleset.
No tournament stage on the Platform employs random number generators (RNG), lottery mechanics, hidden probability-based advancement, or other chance-determined winner selection. Any characterization of Platform tournaments as games of chance is rejected.
3. Registration and Participation Rules
Registration opens and closes strictly within the windows published for each tournament. Late registration is not permitted unless the interface expressly allows it.
- Participants must complete all required registration fields, roster declarations, and payment or credit authorizations (if applicable) before the published registration deadline.
- For Duo and Squad modes, the registered roster must match the mode (two or four players, respectively) and a designated captain or owner must be authorized to submit the roster and communicate with administrators. Solo entrants register as individuals. Roster changes after the published cut-off are permitted only where explicitly allowed by the tournament configuration.
- Check-in is mandatory where enabled: all rostered players must confirm attendance within the published check-in window. Failure to check in may result in automatic removal or forfeit as described in Section 4.
- Substitutions, stand-ins, or emergency roster edits are permitted only if expressly permitted by the tournament ruleset; otherwise, the registered roster is binding.
- Accounts must comply with the Terms regarding identity, security, and prohibition of circumvention; duplicate or alternate accounts used to evade restrictions may result in immediate disqualification.
DigiCup reserves the right to reject or cancel a registration that appears fraudulent, incomplete, ineligible, or contrary to competitive integrity.
4. Match Rules and Format
For PUBG Mobile events, unless superseded by an event-specific addendum published on the Platform, the following standards apply. Other titles, if offered, shall follow analogous procedures disclosed in the applicable listing.
4.1 Custom match structure and placement scoring
Tournaments are conducted using PUBG Mobile custom rooms (or functionally equivalent procedures) with the published team mode and player-slot configuration, normally up to one hundred (100) player slots per match. An event may comprise one match or multiple sequentially or separately scheduled matches if expressly published. Results are determined by official end-of-match placement (and by any published aggregation rule for multi-match events). Tie-breakers, if any, are only those stated in the listing or communicated in writing by Administrators.
4.2 Server, region, and connectivity expectations
Designated servers or regions, latency expectations, and any ping or device verification steps are published or communicated by administrators prior to lobby closure. Participants are responsible for securing a stable connection and compatible client build suitable for competitive play.
4.3 In-game settings and competitive integrity
Required room codes, passwords (if any), perspective (TPP/FPP), map selection, zone pacing where applicable, permitted or prohibited items, and other title-specific competitive settings communicated for the event are binding. Exploits, unauthorized third-party tools, or deviations that confer an unfair advantage may be treated as rule violations.
4.4 Forfeiture, readiness, and match start
- Participants must join the designated custom room and satisfy readiness checks by the published lobby lock or aircraft departure time. A published grace period (if any) applies; absent a published grace period, administrators may declare a forfeit or DNS (did not start) after a reasonable waiting period not exceeding fifteen (15) minutes unless a shorter window is stated for the event.
- Failure to accept an invite, repeated unresponsiveness, intentional failure to ready, leaving an active match without administrator approval, or actions that prevent orderly match start may result in forfeiture of placement, prizes, or further participation as stated for the event.
- Intentional delay tactics, stalling, or refusal to follow administrator instructions without valid technical grounds may result in administrative forfeit or disqualification.
4.5 Disconnections, crashes, and match remakes
Disconnections or client crashes after material match commencement are addressed in accordance with publisher functionality and the listing. Administrators may, subject to verifiable evidence, leave placements as recorded, adjust placements only where objectively supported by game data, or order a remake of a match when technically feasible and equitable. Participants must retain and, upon request, supply evidence such as screenshots, replay files, room identifiers, or match IDs.
5. Fair Play and Anti-Cheat Policy
The integrity of competition is material to DigiCup and all participants. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
- Use of unauthorized third-party software, cheats, aimbots, wallhacks, macros that automate competitive inputs, packet manipulation, or any exploit of game or Platform vulnerabilities.
- Collusion, match-fixing, win-trading, or coordination intended to distort authentic competitive outcomes.
- Impersonation, account sharing during live competitive phases, or permitting an ineligible player to compete under another user''s credentials.
- Any attempt to alter, spoof, or conceal match evidence presented to administrators.
Administrators may issue warnings, placement or eligibility forfeitures, removal from the current match or event, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, and prize nullification. Determinations may rely on automated detection, manual review, and publisher or third-party telemetry where available. DigiCup's enforcement decisions are subject to the Terms.
6. Player Conduct
Participants must maintain professional and respectful conduct in all Platform channels and designated external communications used for tournament administration.
- Toxicity, hate speech, threats, harassment, discriminatory language, or sustained abusive behavior toward players, staff, or spectators is prohibited.
- Participants must follow administrator instructions that are consistent with these Rules and the Terms.
- Broadcast or capture obligations, if any, must be honored as stated in the tournament listing.
- Smurfing, multi-accounting to obtain unfair seeding advantages, or evasion of skill-based restrictions is prohibited where such restrictions are published for the event.
- Spam, commercial solicitation unrelated to the tournament, or interference with administrative workflows may result in removal from the event.
7. Disputes and Referee Decisions
Tournament administrators and DigiCup staff authorized for the event (collectively, "Administrators") have authority to interpret and enforce these Rules in real time, subject to oversight mechanisms described in the Terms.
- Disputes must be submitted through the designated Platform reporting channel or email identified for support, referencing the tournament name, match identifier, approximate time (UTC), and affected roster.
- Participants should attach objective evidence, including screenshots, screen recordings, replay files, lobby IDs, server region indicators, and chat logs where permitted by law and policy.
- Administrators endeavor to resolve routine disputes within a commercially reasonable timeframe; complex investigations may require additional time. Interim decisions (such as match continuation, hold orders, or rescheduling) may be issued to preserve schedule integrity and fair outcomes.
- Final administrative rulings on tournament-specific disputes are binding for the purpose of progressing the event, without prejudice to broader remedies available under the Terms or applicable law.
Bad-faith or repetitive disputes submitted without evidentiary support may be disregarded and may trigger conduct sanctions under the Terms.
8. Technical Issues Policy
Participants acknowledge that online competition involves inherent technical risk. The following principles govern administrative responses:
- General network lag or hardware issues on a participant''s side do not automatically mandate a remake absent administrator discretion and corroborating evidence of a systemic failure.
- Verified widespread server outages, authentication failures attributable to the Platform or title infrastructure, or other systemic failures may warrant rescheduling, full or partial match remakes, or adjustment of published schedules as Administrators deem equitable.
- Where a full or partial match remake is technically feasible and fair to the field, Administrators may order a remake; otherwise, results may stand or placement forfeits may be applied consistent with Section 4.
Administrators have sole authority to determine whether a technical failure materially compromised competitive integrity for a given match or event stage. DigiCup does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Disqualification Rules
Administrators may disqualify a participant or team, with or without prior warning, upon reasonable determination of any of the following:
- No-show, failure to check in, repeated tardiness, or abandonment of an active match without valid excuse accepted by Administrators.
- Cheating, exploitation, or violation of Section 5 or Section 6.
- Material breach of these Rules, the Terms, or event-specific addenda.
- Conduct that jeopardizes other participants, staff, or the orderly operation of the event.
Consequences may include immediate removal from the tournament, forfeiture of pending matches, nullification of prizes for the affected event, forfeiture of entry fees in accordance with the Terms, and Platform-level suspensions or bans. DigiCup may publish anonymized enforcement summaries where permitted by law.
10. Prize Distribution
Where prizes are offered, distribution is administered in accordance with the Terms, the tournament listing, and the following standards. Prizes are tied to verified placement against published bands (for example, Top 1, Top 3, Top 5, Top 10, or Top 30) only as expressly stated for the event.
- Prize entitlements are determined solely by verified final placement (or by published multi-match aggregation), matching rules, and successful verification; no random allocation applies.
- Payout timing depends on verification, fraud screening, and payment rail availability; indicative timelines published in the tournament or Terms are estimates only.
- Identity, age, tax, or compliance verification may be required prior to release of prizes; failure to complete verification within the stated period may result in prize forfeiture as set forth in the Terms.
- Cryptocurrency prizes denominated in USDT (Tether USD) are processed through Payment Gateway as described in the Terms; DigiCup does not provide custodial wallet services.
Tax, reporting, and regulatory obligations associated with prize receipt are the sole responsibility of the participant, as further detailed in the Terms.
11. Rule Updates
DigiCup reserves the right to amend, supplement, or replace these Rules at any time. Material updates will be communicated through a conspicuous notice on the Platform or by other reasonable means.
Continued registration or participation after the effective date of updated Rules constitutes acceptance of the revised provisions. Participants are responsible for reviewing these Rules and applicable tournament notices prior to each event.
